What’s your business, and who are your customers?
We provide expert medical billing services to Physical Therapy clinics. We also perform deep analysis of their billing data to guide our clients on ways to increase their revenue.
Tell us about yourself
I have owned Physical Therapy clinics for over 20 years. Over this time, my team and I have become experts in Physical Therapy Billing and Management. Most clinics today are not being paid what they are owed due to poor billing performance and sneaky ploys and omissions by insurance companies. We pride ourselves on doing everything necessary to get our clients paid 100%.
PTs work way too hard to be shortchanged. I feel that private practice PTs are one of the most important sectors of healthcare. We see it as our mission to help PT Private Practices thrive. This gets me excited each and every day.
What’s your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Every time we take a new client from struggling financially to thriving is the biggest win we can have.
What’s one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Relentlessly examining our performance to continually improve our systems so that our clients get paid 100% of what they are owed.
What are the top tips you’d give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Don’t do it unless you know you will go to work every day with high-level enthusiasm and a servant’s heart. It is too easy to fail in business, and unless you are relentless, it is unlikely that you will succeed.
- Make sure you have a strong business plan (with differentiators) and a viable financial model. Get input from experts to make sure your financial pro-forma is viable.
- Minimize expenses at the start, and make sure you are reviewing your monthly income statement to ensure you are quickly on the path toward profitability and then staying profitable.
